The novel coronavirus antigen test produced by GST's antigen reagent automatic filling and capping production line is an effective method to directly detect the novel coronavirus. As a supplementary method, it can be used for screening of specific populations. The new coronavirus antigen detection reagent has been launched. It is a powerful supplement to nucleic acid detection. How should we operate at home self-test? What should we pay attention to? Antigen self-test operation process:
1. Preparation before antigen self-test
1. Wash or disinfect your hands first, and keep your hands dry before testing.
2. Open the kit and read the instructions carefully to check the condition of the self-test reagent, including the test tube and test card.
3. To confirm the testing environment, it is generally required to be carried out under normal temperature conditions of 14°C to 30°C. Unpack the antigen test card and place it in a flat, clean place.
2. Sample collection
Blow your nose with toilet paper before sampling. Carefully remove the nasal test piece, taking care not to touch the head of the test piece with your hands. Tilt the head slightly, hold the tail of the test piece in one hand, stick the nostril into one side of the nasal cavity 1 to 1.5 cm (approximately the length of the brush in front of the nasal test piece), rotate close to the nasal cavity for at least 4 to 5 circles, and stay for no less than 15 seconds , and then repeat the same procedure for the other nasal cavity using the same test piece.
3. Antigen detection
1. Immediately place the nasal test piece in the sampling tube after collecting the sample. The test piece head should be rotated and mixed in the preservation solution for at least 30 seconds, and at the same time, the test piece head should be squeezed through the outer wall of the sampling tube by hand at least 5 times.
2. Break the test piece across the outer wall of the sampling tube by hand, and soak the test piece head in the sample extraction solution. After capping the sampling tube, drop the liquid vertically into the sample hole of the test card.
3. According to the instructions of the reagent, wait for a period of time to interpret the results.
Positive results: red or purple bands are displayed at both C and T, and the color of the band at T can be dark or light.
Negative results: red or purple bands are shown at C, but no bands at T.
Invalid result: no red or purple band is displayed at C, no matter whether the band is displayed at T, the result is invalid and needs to be resampled for detection.
